Matt has been in the fitness industry for over 15 years and started Body Fit Women’s Fitness 13 years ago.

Why He Created Body Fit: After studying Exercise & Sports Science and working in a women’s fitness studio, he realized many women hated the intimidation of gyms, especially over 40, going through menopause, or getting back on track after kids.

So he created a women-only outdoor fitness community, designed for women to feel safe, seen and supported, not judged.

His Mission: Matt’s mission is simple:

Why He Created Body Fit: After studying Exercise & Sports Science and working in a women’s fitness studio, he realized many women hated the intimidation of gyms, especially over 40, going through menopause, or getting back on track after kids.

So he created a women-only outdoor fitness community, designed for women to feel safe, seen and supported, not judged.

Originally from Seville, Spain, Manu brings a technical and strength-based coaching style to Body Fit. With a background in Exercise & Sport Science and a Master’s in Physical Education, he loves helping women master form, build real strength and become more resilient.

  • Training style: Technique-focused, collaborative, empowering

  • Fun fact: Former rower – placed 6th at the World Junior Rowing Championships

  • Favourite exercise: Power clean

With over 13 years of coaching and 10,000+ PT hours under his belt, Peter is Body Fit’s longest-running and most direct trainer — known for his no-excuses mindset and results-driven programs.

He focuses on three pillars: exercise, nutrition and mindset — and pushes women not just to train, but to transform their thinking and commit to a stronger lifestyle.

What level of fitness do you need to participate?

Our sessions are designed for all fitness levels, whether you’re a beginner or advanced. Our qualified trainers will modify exercises to suit your needs, ensuring you get the most out of each workout. We scale exercises to match your strength and fitness level, so whether you're a novice or experienced, you'll feel supported in every session.

What happens if there’s bad weather?

At all our locations, we have access to undercover areas to continue training if it rains. We rarely cancel sessions, but if we do, and you’ve booked in, we will contact you ahead of time

How many people are in a group?

We cap our group size at 20 participants, but most sessions have 8-12 people. This allows for a more personalised experience, ensuring each individual gets the attention they need.

What if I have an injury or health condition?

Before your first session, you’ll have a conversation with our head trainer to discuss your health and fitness background. Once we understand your condition, we can modify exercises to accommodate any injury or medical condition, provided you have clearance from your healthcare provider.

Do you have to be over 40 to participate?  

Not at all! While we specialise in training women over 40, we welcome participants of all ages. We have many women in their 20s and 30s who enjoy our sessions, as well.
